Chapter 1, Verse 12
तस्य संजनयन्हर्षं कुरुवृद्धः पितामहः। सिंहनादं विनद्योच्चैः शङ्खं दध्मौ प्रतापवान्৷৷
tasya saṅjanayanharṣaṅ kuruvṛddhaḥ pitāmahaḥ. siṅhanādaṅ vinadyōccaiḥ śaṅkhaṅ dadhmau pratāpavān৷৷
Translation
Then to enliven his spirits, the brave Grandfather Bheeshma, eldest of the Kuru-clan, blew his conch, till it sounded like a lion's roar.
